PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Geopanel Linear is a perfect choice for renovation projects as well as new construction. This engineered & cost effective solution makes it possible to utilize the beauty of natural wood and bring acoustical comfort to any space. Geopanel Linear affords the possibility of designing the space from traditional to contemporary styles. It is offered in a variety of wood species (solid and veneered), configurations, blade sizes, number of blades per panel, different panel length and width. This is an excellent choice for wide open spaces and often used in colleges, schools and gathering spaces.

 

Solid wood or veneered blades are factory assembled into panels using black wood backers. The color of wood backers is fully customizable. Wood backers are positioned 12" on center along the length of the panel to ensure panel stability. Matching trim is available to finish the look of floating perimeter on the ceiling.

 

Panels that do not require accessibility can be directly mounted to the grid or wood furring. Positioning of wood backers makes the installation process quick and easy because they are always perfectly aligned with the main runners of the standard grid system. Panels are engineered in a way to ensure monolithic appearance and equal spacing between blades. Geometrik Wood Backer Clips are used for panels that must be accessible.

 

Acoustical performance can be enhanced by applying acoustical fabric to the back of the panels and by placing acoustically transparent insulation on top of the panels.

ENVIRONMENTAL STATEMENT

As part of our ongoing commitment, we put every effort in preserving our forest for future generations. That is why we actively promote panels made of engineered wood that is environmentally friendly, easy to recycle, made of recycled fiber and has a low impact on the environment. Geometrik is offering wood ceiling and wall panels that are manufactured using environmentally preferable products (EPP) such as low emitting sustainable fiberboard (SDF) that contains pre-consumer and/or post-consumer recycled fiber and has no added urea formaldehyde. We use low VOC finishes to further contribute to sustainable design.
