About Geopanel Sonata

Geopanel Sonata is a specialized and high performance paneling that utilizes a fusion of Geotone, Perfo and encapsulated acoustic insulation.

Many factors affect a space’s acoustical qualities, such as its size, shape and the materials used in its construction. Where events such as conferences, concerts and presentations occur, acoustic performance is a top priority in order to offer listeners an optimal experience. This is precisely what Geopanel Sonata offers.

Optimal installation is on a floating wall where the encapsulated fabric plays a role in retaining the panel’s acoustic qualities.

Composite Construction

Geopanel Sonata’s composite construction not only achieves a high level of acoustic excellence and noise reduction coefficient, but it saves both space and time. Geopanel Sonata eliminates the need to use additional acoustic materials, such as acoustical insulation, which is usually placed on top of ceiling panels.

Geopanel Sonata is offered in a variety of wood species, configurations, blade sizes, and panel lengths and widths and is specially tailored to each project to ensure excellent sound quality and visual appearance.

Installation Highlights

The panels were ideally designed to be used on floating walls to keep the acoustical insulation in place the encapsulation within the panel. However, the increased popularity of the system interested architects in applying the panels to ceilings and standard wall structures.

The Geopanel Sonata can be installed in variety of applications in both ceilings and walls. Ceiling applications are typically handled using Z hanger and Torsion springs, meanwhile wall applications can be achieved using z-clips. We invite you to contact your local Geometrik rep to find out more about the application of Geopanel Perfo S and the advantages of this unique wood panel system.
