Geotone S

Geotone S wood ceiling system is one of the most popular product lines in the Geometrik product lineup. Our team has pushed the limit on improving the production process and efficiency capability in producing this high-quality ceiling system. The value of Geotone S is in installation options, high acoustical performance and affordability.

The Geotone S comes in three diverse premanufactured face groove profiles with varying spacing and acoustical performance. The panels can be manufactured in different forms including tongue and groove planks, ceiling tiles and custom panels for ceilings and walls.

The acoustical performance of Geotone S can be further enhanced through application of denser and thicker acoustical insulation which can be field applied by a contractor to the rear of the panel. We invite you to reach out to your local Geometrik representative to learn more about the advantages of Geotone S and how it can enhance your project in acoustics and design.

Installation Highlights

The Geotone S T & G Plank System is most suitable for applications where a monolithic look is desired. The seamless nature of T & G connection allows for complete coverage of large surfaces without visible panel reveals.

Both the Geotone S wall and ceiling planks are installed using special Geometrik T & G clips, and can be installed with the grooves running vertically or horizontally. The product can be installed with additional insulation to further enhance acoustical properties.

Geotone S Custom Size Panels are available in a variety of sizes and can be factory cut to any customer length or width up to 4’ wide and 10’ long. These wall panels can be installed on both Ceiling and Walls. Ceiling installation is possible using Z Hanger or Torsion Springs. Wall installations are achieved through use of Z clips. and a minimum ¼” reveal between panels is recommended to allow for the wood’s natural expansions and contractions.

Geotone S Ceiling Tiles are supplied in four standard sizes: 2’ x 2’, 2’ x 4’, 2’ x 8’ and 2’ x 10’. These panels are easily suspended from standard 15/16 Black Heavy Duty T-Bar, and are available in three edge treatments: Lay-In, Tegular Edge and Side Groove.
